If you haven’t followed Allen’s career you may not know that this Raleigh resident and North Carolina native is an accomplished inventor speaker, chef, writer and fine art painter and teacher. His work can be found in galleries and private collections from coast to coast. Early in his career he was represented by and catalogued in the international art auction house of Sotheby’s in New York. He then went on to open galleries and publish hundreds of open- and limited-edition prints of his work. In the last ten years Allen has combined his talent for painting and his love for cooking and writing to not only publish his first book “Monets to Béarnaise,” but to host and produce a widely viewed talk cooking and art television show.

More recently, Allen has been tapped by one of the world’s largest paint and art supply manufacturers to produce a line of Allen Montague the Southern Palette paints and art supplies and videos.

The prestigious public relations firm, The Andrew Freedman Agency, in Los Angeles, is currently handling the marketing and public relations for Allen and his unique style of finger painting along with his traditional brush and palette knife styles.

Allen is also currently joining www.artacademylive.com to teach his unique style of acrylic painting to an international audience via the Internet. You can also go to www.jerrysartarama.com to view Allen’s teaching schedule for children and adults. We also have a listing at www.allenmontague.com for children and adult classes available at our Wake Forest, NC and Louisburg, NC locations.

If you haven’t had the chance to meet this unique individual and watch his finger painting technique in action, you must see it to believe it! Over the years Allen has combined his artistic talents with his love of people to encourage students and viewers to paint along with him no matter what their skill level. From amateur to professional, everyone who comes in contact with this unique artist comes away with a new perspective on both art and life.
